Ingredients:
- Butter (for greasing)
- 500g smoked haddock (approximately 2 fillets), skinned and divided into 4 portions
For the Gratin Topping:
- 200ml double cream or crème fraîche
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 100g cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced
- A pinch of nutmeg
- A handful of dried breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dish:
- Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease a medium-sized gratin dish with butter.
- Layer the Haddock:
