Our T-bone steak is a cut of beef that comes from the short loin of a cow. It is called a T-bone because of the T-shaped bone that runs through the center of the steak. One side of the bone contains a smaller piece of tenderloin, while the other side contains a larger piece of strip loin or New York strip.
T-bone steaks are typically quite thick and are often grilled or broiled. They are known for their rich flavor and tender texture, especially when cooked to medium-rare or medium doneness. T-bone steaks can be seasoned with a variety of herbs and spices or served with a simple salt and pepper seasoning.
Due to the presence of the tenderloin and strip loin sections, T-bone steaks can be quite expensive compared to other cuts of beef. However, many people consider them to be a special treat due to their unique flavor and texture.
